Most custom engagement rings take approximately 4-6 weeks from the initial consultation to the finished piece. This timeline allows our expert jewelers to carefully design, handcraft, and inspect every detail of your ring to ensure it's truly heirloom-quality!

Step 1: Consultation

Every great design starts with a conversation! We'll meet one-on-one to learn all about your dream engagement ring. Visit us at our Chicago showroom, or if you're out of town, we'll happily work with you through email or a phone consultation!

Bring along inspiration photos, Pinterest boards, sketches, gemstone ideas, or even just a general vibe. Whether you know exactly what you want or need a little guidance, we'll help turn your ideas into a design that's uniquely you!

Step 2: Design & CAD

Now it's time for your vision to take shape! Our team begins by refining your design before creating a detailed CAD (Computer-Aided Design) model. This transforms your concept into a realistic 3D rendering, allowing you to see exactly how your custom engagement ring will look before production begins! The CAD process ensures every detail, from stone placement to band width, is just right.

Step 3: Review & Revisions

Once your CAD renderings are ready, we'll send them to you for review!

You'll receive multiple views of your ring, including:

• Top view

• Side view

• Front view

• Three-quarter angle

Want to tweak a detail? No problem! We want you to absolutely love your design. Keep in mind that revisions may extend the production timeline slightly, but it's worth taking the time to get every detail perfect!

Step 4: Handcrafting Your Ring

Here's where the magic happens! Once you've approved your CAD design, our expert jewelers begin handcrafting your engagement ring right here in our Chicago studio. Production typically takes about three weeks, and every step is completed with incredible attention to detail. During this time we:

• Grow the wax model

• Create the casting mold

• Carefully set each gemstone

• Add custom engraving (if requested)

• Polish and finish your ring

• Perform multiple quality control inspections
